School-teacher, then pastor of small and large churches in Australia and Canada, currently serving on the pastoral team at St Martins Community Church, Collingwood; graduate of half a dozen tertiary institutions; writer of 13 books (best known: Still Waters Deep Waters); teacher in various Theological/Bible Colleges etc. Currently director of John Mark Ministries – serving pastors, ex-pastors, church leaders and their spouses – counselling, writing, preaching, seminaring, Facebooking, and running the busy JMM website,  and severa blogs.
Hobbies?
Relaxing with his wife Jan (also an ordained Baptist pastor) and grandchildren, reading and reviewing books (and collecting F W Boreham titles), collecting and disseminating wisdom, and talking with people on-line and face-to face…

Hearing someone on a two-day retreat say, ‘Thanks for listening: no one’s ever done that for six hours before. My life now makes a lot more sense!’
