New book fo recovering pastors

1 out of every 7 adults in America view pornography on line each month (3X Church). My name is Rick Nevard, I am an ordained minister who had been hiding a 30 year addiction to porn. After being found out and suspended from ministry, I went on a two-year journey to better understand the addiction and find deliverance from this malady. The results were personal freedom, a renewed sense of purpose, and a book which just came out in publication. The book is titled, “Pornography and the Pulpit: Understanding the Sins of the Shepherd as a Means of Restoration.” It addresses the root causes for sexual addiction and what dynamics seem to play a part in making this the “drug of choice” among clergy (according to statistics, 50-75% of clergy are involved!); there are dynamics of ministry can actually be a precursor for sexual addictions. The book also offers a clear biblical approach for denominational leaders on how to bring their fallen ministers through recovery and restore them to their call. It is by far the most comprehensive book on this subject in print. The book is available through its publisher, Publish America, Amazon, Barnes and Nobel and others or you can get them straight through me. I would love to discuss my findings with you and maybe you would be interested in making it available through your ministry. My hope is that together we can help restore these people, their families and their churches.

Thank you for your time and God bless!

Rev. Rick Nevard
