Israel: whose perspective?

Facebook friends’  responses:

*  The hard thing to understand is what happened to all the rest of the chart, the bit with “Irgun Zwei Leumi” and “Stern Gang” and “Drive Palestinians into desert”. It goes above that part of the chart.

I had a friend at school who carried his only photo of his father in his wallet. He was with an army mate (British Army). You couldn’t actually see his face: Zionist terrorists had covered their faces before hanging them for trying to keep the peace…

A Rabbi and a Muslim leader were interviewed on TV early in the Intifada, and all they could do was justify increasing violence against each other’s nations.

The interviewer was amazed. “You are men of religion, and you are so keen on violence and revenge?”

This was the only point where the interviewees agreed. “You don’t understand,” said one. “It is Christianity, not Islam or Judaism, which teaches turning the other cheek!”

* I have always found it ironic that a state that exists due to terrorism (e.g the King David Hotel), lives with its constant threat.
