I have clients who need these. Would those of you with booklets be willing to send me good quality photocopies? In return I’ll send – without cost – photocopies of others you don’t have. Not a bad deal all round eh? (See the booklet list above for the photocopies currently available). Please contact me by email: simply click on the ‘Contact Us’ button top right on your screen.
THE SUNDAY AT HOME
The Religious Tract Society magazines published in annual volumes, contained many of Boreham’s articles. They’re very hard to get
Articles by F W Boreham in the 1917 volume are titled “Gossip” page.125, “A Philosophy of Growing-Pains” – page.505, “On the Lawn” – page.721, “Making Allowance for “Ship””
In 1918 volume: “The Secret” page.412, “The King’s Jester” – page 466, “The Mister of Murdstone Creek” – page 820.
In 1919 volume: “Fishing for Whales” – page 350, “Where? Where? Where?” – page 469, “This is the Day” – page.579, “Sight-Seeing” – page 733.
In 1920 volume: “John Bunyan’s Text” – page 61, “Wishing-Time” – page 129, “Twins!” – page 234, “Our Maiden Aunts” – page 479, “Wanted! Wanted!” – page 577
In 1921 volume: “The Clockwork Mouse” – page 189, “Simon Pottinger” -page 362, “Living Dogs and Dead Lions” – page 449, “A Song of Triumph” – page 557, “No News is Good News” – page 686. A Song of Triumph is based on the famous text from Habakkuk 3 (‘Though the fig tree does not blossom… yet will I rejoice in the Lord’): I can’t find this essay in any of Boreham’s books
1922 edition of Sunday at Home Here is a list of the essays by Boreham. A BOOK OF BLOTS, THE CHIMES, THE ACCOMPANIMENT, THE OCCUPANT OF THE GREEN CHAIR, A GOOD WIFE AND A GALLANT SHIP,MY WALKING STICKS, THE PICTURE IN THE CARAVAN,THE MISTAKE OF THINKING TOO LITTLE OF ONESELF, WHAT ARE THE WILD WAVES SAYING?, KISSES
1930 SAH: ‘The Manuscripts of God’ A friend is sending a photocopy of this one
1931 SAH: ‘The Upward Call’, ‘On Being Sixty’, ‘The Morning Mail’ Special 1933 Easter edition of SAH has Boreham’s essay ‘The Scarlet Sunshade’
Other SAH years with Boreham essays: 1923-4, 1934-5, 1935-6, 1937-8.

Any others? As these pass through my hands I’ll photocopy the Boreham articles for any who are interested. Does anyone have access to The Sunday at Home in a library to discover which ones have Boreham essays? I have a 1908-9 edition – but no Boreham articles. And there are none in the 1910 edition.
